A Bosch Keyless Chuck Can Take the Place of Obsolete Parts

You are on a job with your Bosch drill but you've lost your chuck key. The nifty yellow and black drill still runs like the day you purchased it. You don't want to part with it, but you cannot use it without a chuck key. You may check the roster of available Bosch parts to change it. However, the part is discontinued.
 
The misplaced chuck key is not the end of your handy yellow and black drill. There's a keyless chuck replacement part from Bosch that you can use. The Bosch keyless chuck with a part number 330075-63 is highly useful. They no longer supply the part number 330075-66. The new 330075-63 is the replacement part you require. The 330075-63 is compatible with nearly two dozen Bosch tools. A few Bosch models that function with this replacement part include the DW990KQ-2 Type 4, DW971K-2 Type 6, and DC920 Type 1.
   
Replacing the old chuck that needed a key with the new Bosch keyless chuck part is an easy procedure. Open the drill chuck, use an Alle
n wrench to remove the screw from the chuck's end, and give it a swift twist or slide if off. You may then put in the new Bosch keyless chuck. But make sure to secure it and screw it on completely, or it might fall off, which could be very hazardous.
  
You can work with with drill right away as soon as you have the new Bosch keyless chuck in place. If you're not used to using a drill that has a keyless chuck, you may notice a slight difference when compared to your old one. It may give less torque than what you were used to. This is just a minor inconvenience, however.
