In places like India or Pakistan where 70% of the population resides in the backward areas, a lot of taboos are attached with diseases like ED. In rural Asian places, a MAN is concerned to be the epitome of superiority, so an acknowledgement of a disease likes erectile dysfunction- No WAY! The saddest part of the whole affair is that most of the time the wife of the affected male is victimized. She is the one who has to go through all the pain and trauma for no fault of hers. At times domestic violence is inflicted upon her, or she is socially boycotted or the husband remarries. And no one dares to confront the truth that the problem is not with the wife but with the husband. This we can say is all due to the lack of education. But whatever the reason, there has to be an end to all these happenings. After all, for how long innocent women would suffer just because their husbands can't arouse themselves to the desired pitch of excitement?
Erectile dysfunction causes a lot of dilemmas in the lives of the one's affected, because at the end of the day we are not platonic beings but normal human beings who need sex. Though it sounds crude but it's the truth. That's why more and more men affected by ED are going in for medical help. Even the women have started voicing their needs; they are no longer the mum creatures who bear everything in the name of their husbands. This is particularly true in case of educated ladies living
Most of the time the situation deteriorates from bad to worse in the rural areas because the population is oblivious about the existence of any erectile dysfunction drugs, leaving apart the indigenous drugs of course. This is another plus point for educated population residing in the urban areas. They have knowledge about ED drugs like Pfizer Viagra, Levitra and Cialis and also have the money to purchase them. With the availability of online prescription for these drugs in the online pharmacies, things have become easier for the urban public. They can carve out a cure of ED discreetly and effectively without letting the whole world know about it.
However these kinds of facilities are too far fetched for the rural public. They need to be sexually educated and also otherwise by government initiatives and then ED drugs should be made available to them, if possible free of cost or at a cheaper rate. This is the only way to liberate the rural ladies from the brutality of such age old sexist stigmas.
